Tourismeet: Jubilee 2025, meeting to encourage dialogue between institutions and professionals in the sector

The event, open to the public and free of charge, is organized to promote dialogue between institutions, tourism operators, non-profit organizations, and industry professionals. The goal is to create a platform for discussion on strategies and solutions to optimize the management of tourist flows, as well as the workflow of SMEs and micro-enterprises, in preparation for the Jubilee 2025. The event is expected to attract 32 million attendees, with an estimated total expenditure of €16.7 billion. This historic opportunity of great significance for the city demands special attention to contemporary communication methods and dynamics, where the redundancy of information can play a crucial role in the initiative’s success. In this context, journalist and writer Gabriele Ziantoni will deliver insights on the city’s tone of voice. Key participants in the forum, moderated by journalist Anna Benedetto, include Sister Rebecca Nazzaro, Superior General of the Missionaries of Divine Revelation and the new director of the Office for Pilgrimage Pastoral Care of the Vicariate of Rome – Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi; Dario Nanni, President of the Special Jubilee 2025 Commission of the City of Rome; and Hon. Maurizio Politi, Vice President of the same Commission. They will provide an in-depth overview of the logistical optimizations and opportunities for Rome as the host city. Stefano Mascanzoni, CEO of the Affidea Group for Umbria and Lazio, will address the healthcare needs of visitors. Aliservice, a long-standing provider of airport services, will share insights from airport hospitality and logistics at Rome Fiumicino Airport. Additionally, Alessandro Moscetta, representing the Sant’Egidio Community, will highlight the importance of inclusion and solidarity, with a special focus on combating food waste, a crucial issue during events of this magnitude. From an entrepreneurial perspective, the Jubilee will be analyzed as a driver of development for commerce and tourism through the contribution of Mauro Antonini, representative of the AEPI Confederation. Marco Barbini, from the Unilavoro Roma Est Territorial Association, will discuss the role of welfare and digital innovation in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises. The event will conclude with Giada Giorgia Mattei, co-founder of Stay Open, the agency organizing the event, who will provide final reflections on the importance of synergy between businesses and local communities to ensure the success of the Jubilee and leave a valuable legacy for the city. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required through the official website www.touristmeet.it, where the complete program is also available.
